Hoppy Easter

We had a really great Easter this year. On Saturday Becca, Mike, Makayla, Ben, Savanah, Hailee and myself (Heath had to work) went to Copperton park for an Easter egg hunt. It would have been much better had the limit not have been three eggs, but we all got candy so it was alright anyway.

After that Hailee, Heath and I headed up to Plain City for a Hall family Easter party and we had a great time their too! We roasted hot dogs, ate yummy food, Hailee rode on a pony and we had an Easter egg hunt. They had cool eggs that were real egg shells filled with confetti that you smash on people's heads-it was a lot of fun!

On Sunday my parents and Stephen and Kellee came up for dinner. It was delicious we had ham, mashed potatoes, jello eggs, rolls-yum! yum!
It was a great weekend!

*This is Hailee in her Easter dress the Grandma Hall made for her*

I want to thank Savanah Breinholt who just learned how to crawl. So while she was here visiting I think she helped Hailee get the idea of moving your hands and knees. Before Hailee would get up on her feet and plop forward just a little bit at a time. I think that she has found this new method of crawling to be much more efficient.
Hailee is also learning more signs. I'm so excited for her. If you are lucky you can get her to sign ball, she waves bye bye and sometimes she does all done-which looks a lot like bye bye. Now the trick is trying to decide if she is trying to sign something or just waving her arms around and having fun-which is the more likely of the two.
I can't believe she is almost 9 months old. (Saturday) Time is flyin' and she is growing up soooo fast.

My first sign

I am so proud and excited. Hailee signed her first word on Thursday.
It was the sign for DOG! Yes, it is pretty simple-all you do is pat your leg. But she really does it and she does it on purpose. I pulled out a stuffed animal dog that she had never seen before and she started slapping her leg. I thought she was just getting excited about a new toy and left it at that. When Heath got home for work I was gone and he saw the dog and showed it to Hailee and she started signing dog. Then when I got home that night I asked her "Where is the dog?" and she started signing dog. On Friday I took her to a babysitters house that has a dog and she started signing dog when she saw their dog too!
However, it seems to be like her rolling over phase where she forgot how to do it for awhile-because on Saturday she wouldn't really do it for Grandma=(
BUT I do have in on video camera-so I have proof. I just don't know how to get that on my blog right now.

Also, she had her 9 month appointment today (a little early) but here are the stats:
19.1 lbs--50%-weight
28 1/4 inches 75%-length
44 ( i think) 50%--head

No teeth. Trying to walk, trying even less to crawl-but she does try on her hand and feet.
Loves cheerios and mom. She has been very clingy lately-the whole seperation anxiety thing. It should make my off track experience fun-I'll never get anything done with the way she holds on to me and cries (screams murder) if I walk 3 ft away!
She is still so much fun to have around and it is amazing how much she changes everyday. I love her so much!
Even with the seperation anxiety, I am SO excited to go off track!

Welcome to my life!

Well lately I have been reading many other people's blogs and thinking that I should start my own. It seemed like the popular thing to do, so I did it! Hopefully I can keep it updated-I might not have internet at home once I quit school, which could make things a bit more difficult, but not impossible.
I am really excited to have a blog, because I want to brag about my little girl. She is so cute and so much fun and I don't think I tell that to enough people. Or show them the cute pictures.
So Heath loves pigtails. If I wore my hair that way everyday I think he would love it! Instead I had a baby girl whose hair I could do. So this week for the first time we tried ponytails and pigtails. Isn't she soooo cute!
Anyway, I have so many things I want to add to this blog, but my computer is being so slow, I'll just have to wait...and so will you!
SORRY-the pictures will have to come later my internet is not working too great!
